Mumbai Powai puppy flung from height and left with fractures
In May 2025, a three-month-old community puppy in Powai, Mumbai suffered multiple fractures after a security guard allegedly threw the animal from a height of more than 35 feet.
What happened
Times of India reported that the incident happened at L&T Emerald Isle, Tower Park.
Residents heard the injured puppy crying and took the animal for veterinary treatment.
The guard was reportedly fired and a complaint was filed with Powai police.
