Yuen Long, Hong Kong: six dogs found without enough food or water in Yang Uk Tsuen

On the evening of July 18, 2021, a stone house in Yang Uk Tsuen, Yuen Long, Hong Kong was reported after a villager noticed a foul smell and suspected dogs were being mistreated. HK01 and Now News reported that police found six dogs inside without enough food or water. Two dogs were described as very thin, while four puppies were trapped in three cages with little space. A 46-year-old male person in charge was arrested on suspicion of cruelty to animals, and the six dogs were handed to the SPCA for examination.
