Story

Red Dog travelled widely through Western Australia’s Pilbara region, sometimes with bus drivers and sometimes alone.

He became a community animal with many caretakers, memberships, a bank account and later a statue in Dampier.

Red Dog is archived because the story preserves regional community care and memory around a wandering animal.
